The Boulder Triathlon Series is comprised of the 5430 Sprint Triathlon, Presented by Amica; Boulder Peak Triathlon, part of the 5150 Series; and Ironman 70.3 Boulder.

5430 Sprint Triathlon, Presented by Amica takes place in Boulder, Colorado, located about thirty miles northwest of Denver. Athletes will begin with a .5-mile swim in Boulder Reservoir, followed by a 17.2-mile bike and a two-loop, 3.1-mile run around the reservoir with the Rocky Mountains serving as a backdrop.

The Boulder Peak Triathlon is an International distance event consisting of 1.5K swim, 42K bike, and a 10K run. The 15K swim portion of the event starts and finishes East of the transition area at the Boulder Reservoir open swim area. The one loop, 42K bike leg begins at the Boulder Reservoir and winds throughout North Boulder County. The 10K, one loop run course is flat and fast and follows a counter clockwise flow.

Athletes will begin with a 1.2-mile, one-loop swim in the Boulder Reservoir followed by a 56-mile relatively flat bike course with slight inclines and descents. The 13.1-mile, two-loop course offers great views of the Rocky Mountains and allows spectators to cheer athletes on as they head to the finish line.
